Terms of Service
1. What this site is
The Search Network is a UK marketplace connecting young people with industry experts for career advice, mentorship, coaching and networking. This website is currently a pre-launch page: you can join the waitlist and send us a message. The marketplace itself is not live yet.
2. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist does not create an account and does not guarantee access. When the marketplace opens, we will email you at the address you gave us. You can ask to be removed at any time using the contact form.
3. Planned pricing
Prices shown on this page are planned launch prices and may change before launch. The launch offer described on this page — free premium membership for the first 1,000 students, ambassadors and society leaders — applies as described at launch, subject to availability.
4. Using this site
Please give accurate information when you sign up or contact us, and do not misuse the site or attempt to disrupt it. Content on this site is ours; please do not copy it without permission.
5. Career guidance
Career content on this site is general guidance, not professional advice tailored to your situation. Decisions about your career remain your own.
6. Liability and changes
This site is provided as available. We may update these terms and the content of this site at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

1. Who we are
The Search Network is the data controller for information collected through this site.
2. What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, email address, role and any note you add. When you send a message, we collect your name, email address and message. Our hosting provider also processes technical data needed to deliver the site, such as IP addresses in server logs.
3. Why we use it
We use waitlist details to tell you when the marketplace opens, with your consent. We use messages to reply to you, which is in our legitimate interest in running the service.
4. Who processes it
The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Workers, D1 and R2). Contact messages and waitlist notifications are delivered through Cloudflare Email Service. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
5. How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until the marketplace launches and for a reasonable period after, so we can onboard you. We keep messages for as long as needed to deal with them. You can ask us to delete your details at any time using the contact form.
6. Your rights
See our GDPR Notice for your rights and how to exercise them.
Last updated: 2 November 2026.
1. Scope
This notice explains your rights under UK GDPR and, where it applies, EU GDPR, for information collected through this site.
2. Controller and lawful bases
The Search Network is the controller. We rely on your consent to hold waitlist details, and on legitimate interests to respond to messages you send us. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete your details.
3. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your information; to restrict or object to its use; to receive it in a portable form; and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any right, use the contact form on this site and we will respond within one month.
4. Transfers
Our hosting provider may process data outside the UK and the EEA, under standard contractual safeguards.
5. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

1. Our approach
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not run analytics that follow you across the web.
2. What may be set
Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical identifiers to deliver the site securely and reliably. Typefaces loaded from Google Fonts involve a technical request to Google; Google’s own privacy policy applies to that request.
3. Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technical processing may affect how the site loads.
